Hello, my name is Jennifer James. Our facility, TCRA, opened in April of 2009. As I was looking for a stable for my friend in May 2009, I discovered a newly opened, 22 acre beautiful ranch that I had to move my horse to as well! Ever since I joined the TCRA team, it has been a wonderful experience being part of the growing process of a brand new ranch.
My background with raising animals started off when I was 5 years old and received my first pet, a guinea pig. Since then, I have looked after many animals as pets and facilities that I have worked for that range from newts to horses!
My equestrian experience started off when I was a young teenager that ranged from disciplines of saddle seat, dressage, western pleasure, and jumping!
I taught as a western gaited pleasure instructor for 4 years at another wonderful equestrian center, Golden Gaits, prior to pursuing my own dreams of showing my very own horse.
To this day I still love to teach and ride horses, particularly my sweetheart Epona who is a multitalented Tennessee Walking Horse. She not only gaits & canters beautifully, but has a fantastic hunter trot. Thus, I have been training her to show in hunter/jumper competitions along with continuing those long wonderful western trail rides. To this day, Epona has placed highly in many of the classes including many 1sts and a lovley reserve grand champion ribbion.
My primary carrier is a 7th grade science teacher where every day is a fun and exciting experience, however, I still provide lessons to those who seek training for western pleasure riding and horsemanship skills.
If you have any questions on beginner lessons, give me a call at the number above, have a great day!

After a long hard week of work, there is nothing like throwing a saddle on a horse and going out on a trail. Learn the skills you need to ride and connect with your horse. In return, you will look back on all the challanges you two have faced together and now you look at your sucess from the top of a mountain.
